THE BOOK CLUB
Read more...
The Book Club is a leisure organization where a group of people with common interests come together to share and discuss thoughts on chosen literature within an informal environment.
Meetings
Meetings
The Book Club is scheduled to meet every fortnight (every two weeks) on Tuesday evenings, 18.30 and they will run for approximately 90mins.
Where is it held? The meetings will be held at volunteered venues (members’ houses, bars etcetera).
What happens in meetings? The focal point of every meeting is the discussion of a chosen Book, good or bad, what it means to each member. It is the "Top Gear" for books. However it gets better!!! We get to know other like-members and discuss common interests from the health of our president to Wayne Rooney's head over drinks and finger foods. Bottles are always welcome. Haha!

The Book Club is not a library. Books are chosen ONLY by bona fide members of The Book Club and this is done on rotation. Every member of TBC will have to buy their own copy of the chosen literature.
NOT JUST BOOKS.
It may be, The Book Club but it is an umbrella for general knowledge. An enviroment to display individuality and escape from boring daily routines. And...
The Book Club aims to extend passion for literature to the less privileged through periodic visits to orphanages and rural primary schools, teaching them how to read, the importance of reading and making significant difference in their lives (donations will be very much embraced).
How do I become a member?
New Comers are welcome to meetings however to become a bona fide member of The Book Club, one has to pay a registration fee. This fee covers the cost of our meetings including refreshments.
Please note: The Book Club is a non-profitable society.
